The ROIC technology of the future will enable smart FPAs. Systems are demanding these ROICs to have diffraction limit pixel size, read noise & well capacity for BLIP limited performance, read rates to track the fastest motion, simultaneous multi-band imaging, and on-FPA processing, while maintaining a small size weight and power (SWaP).
